The Wine
This wine was inspired by a show-stopping taste of Viognier from the Rhône Valley’s Condrieu region. We fermented the juice in three different vessels (stainless steel tank, concrete egg, and neutral French oak barrel), and blended the wine back together before bottling. It results in a beautifully layered wine that’s both rich and bright. This is the wine we pack for a vineyard (aka our backyard) picnic of smoked salmon, herbed goat cheese, and crusty bread.
