The Wine
Picardan is a cross between Picpoul (translated to lip stinger!) and Clairette Blanche. We are proud to be the first, and potentially only, vineyard to plant it in Washington state and one of four in the U.S. We age this rare white Rhône varietal in two neutral French oak barrels, creating a rounded texture while retaining its zippy acidity. A highlight of our annual estate wine dinner, the Picardan pairs perfectly withChef Aaron Tekulve’s seafood forward menu.
