The 2016 Red Wine Blend Consonance is 50% Petite Sirah, 45% Syrah, and 5% Viognier, which is certainly a blend you don't see very often. One of the deeper colored wines in the lineup, it offers loads of spiced plums, blackberries, game, and foresty, earthy notes to go with a rich, medium to full-bodied, textured style on the palate. It has more richness and depth than the other releases here yet still shows the balanced, well-made style that's common from this estate. It should drink nicely for at least 7-8 years, probably longer.
